Apply for a Grant
We accept grant requests from nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charities in the Fox Valley region at any time throughout the year. Applicants must apply online, using the process outlined below. Generally, we work with organizations we have a relationship with. Smaller grant requests are typically reviewed monthly, while larger ones are reviewed at quarterly Foundation board meetings. If your organization is awarded a grant, a final report will be required before applying for a future grant.
Nonprofit organizations who are applying for the MATCHING GIFTS program will use the Matching Gifts Application process below.
1. ELIGIBILITY QUIZ
Click on the “Apply Now” button below to take our eligibility quiz. It will help you determine whether your request aligns with our guidelines.
2. LETTER OF INQUIRY
If eligible, you will be guided to an online form requesting basic information about the nonprofit organization and the request. The online letter of inquiry form requires an email address and EIN number for your nonprofit organization. In some circumstances the foundation staff may request additional information or a site visit before the application moves forward.

4. GRANT DECISION
You will be notified of the funding decision. If you are selected to receive a grant, the grant check will be delivered within 30 days of notification. If your nonprofit organization is awarded a grant, a final report will be required before applying for a future grant.
