2016 Associate Matching Gifts Program
Recognizing the importance of individual support for charitable organizations,
J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. and the J. J. Keller Foundation combined forces in 2008 to introduce the Associate Matching Gifts Program. Associates donate to a nonprofit organization of their choice and the Foundation matches up to $1,000. The matching gifts program encourages personal philanthropy by enhancing contributions made to 501(c)(3) public charities in order to improve the quality of life in the communities in which associates live, work and play.
The J. J. Keller Matching Gifts Program came to a successful conclusion in 2016 with a total of $68,852.45 donated to 80 different nonprofit organizations, thanks to associates’ generosity.
Associate gifts totaled $34,988.85, and of that, $33,863.60 was matched by the foundation. A total of 84 associates participated in the program, and 111 requests for matching dollars were approved. These gifts are totally associate-directed and are not confined to organizations in Northeastern Wisconsin.
Since the program began in 2008, $235,510 has been donated by associates with the foundation matching $203,266 for a total investment of $438,776 to organizations that align with associates charitable interests.
