OSHKOSH — The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh was recently awarded a $35,000 grant from the J.J. Keller Foundation Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation. The grant will be used to support basic needs of youth ages 6 to 18.

The J. J. Keller Foundation was founded in 1991 and since then has funded numerous community projects and programs, all of which have positively impacted the lives of citizens throughout the Fox Cities.

We are currently serving over 3,600 youth through membership and community outreach, said Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh CEO, Marc Dosogne. With more than 50% of our Club members qualifying for free or reduced meals and coming from single parent homes, our Club is able to provide programs and services to the children who need us most because of grants like this one from the J.J. Keller Foundation Fund.

The J.J. Keller funding will allow the Boys & Girls Club to continue providing members with healthy meals and snacks, hygiene assistance, scholarships and proper clothing. Although the Club invests over $870 in each member, it only costs Club members $25 for an annual membership. Scholarships are provided for those families who cannot afford this fee.

With this grant, the J.J. Keller Foundation Fund is investing in the local community and helping enable young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh would like to thank the J.J. Keller Foundation Fund and the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation for helping fulfill the Clubs mission of improving the lives of children and families.
