OSHKOSH — Clarity Care is delighted to announce the receipt of a grant donated by the J. J. Keller Foundation. The donation will benefit Clarity Care's Help At Home program, a charitable cost-sharing program that bridges the gap in health care costs for elderly and disabled clients who do not qualify for medical assistance, yet cannot afford the full costs of the services they desperately need. The J. J. Keller Foundation's donation will help to subsidize the costs of the Help At Home program and in doing so, allow clients to remain living in their own home as independently as possible. The program services include transportation to medical appointments, meal planning and preparation, laundry, medication reminders, bathing and dressing, and much more. "The work of Clarity Care's Help At Home program fits so well with the mission of the J. J. Keller Foundation," explained Mary Harp-Jirschele, Executive Director of the foundation headquartered in Neenah, Wisconsin. "This program is all about meeting basic human needs, which is exactly what the Keller family is dedicated to doing. We are eager to hear about the progression of the program with this influx of funding." Tim Cook, CEO of Clarity Care, is also anticipating the future progression of Help At Home. "We have a population that is living longer and in better condition. The program needs to grow because the need for it is going to grow tremendously. Our priorities are to maintain the continuous care of our current clients, and at the same time begin to serve more of the disabled and elderly people in our community." The generous donation of the J. J. Keller Foundation will allow Help At Home to achieve these goals. Clarity Care's Home Health division is a licensed, Medicare/Medicaid certified home health care agency; providing a variety of services to meet the needs of adults, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. In addition to health services, Clarity Care offers: residential programs and day services for developmentally disabled adults and persons with traumatic brain injuries; customized employment solutions; staff development and training; and Heritage Court, an independent retirement community.
