APPLETON — The J.J. Keller Foundation awarded a $10,000 grant to Loaves & Fishes of the Fox Valley to help purchase a walk-in freezer.

“We are extremely grateful to the J.J. Keller Foundation for choosing to support Loaves & Fishes of the Fox Valley,” said Carol Burns, Loaves & Fishes executive director. “This gift will assist us in storing more food and thereby decreasing the number of trips necessary to Feeding America in Omro thus saving on the cost of gas and mileage.”

The Community Meal of Loaves & Fishes is served every Monday and Wednesday evening at Trinity Lutheran Church in Appleton.
